This place has far less robust mechanisms to fight misinfo compared to X or threads. The value of the "community notes" mechanism was the correction was *right there*, you didn't have to wade through replies/quotes to find it. Really seems like a failure for a "Twitter replacement."

In the american context communism is mostly unrelated to economics. Any progressive redistributive policy is communism, as is any egalitarianism of race, gender, or sexual orientation.
