I wish steam would actually enforce that requirement. So many slop games don't have any disclosure and just get caught by players. Nobody knows how many never get caught. Plus, steam doesn't even require the disclaimer if the game's very code was slop-generated.

Wanted a fleshy texture, with more or less realistic-looking blood vessels. Ended up writing a GIMP plugin to procedurally generate veins. Never wrote GIMP plugins before, it was quite an uphill battle, and it's still rather inefficient. The algorithm itself on the other hand is super simple.

4 examples of procedurally-generated images meant to represent veins.

Basically, keep drawing a line while randomly changing the direction by little amounts, keep reducing the line width, and occassionally start new branches by repeating that process and random points of the line in random directions. Do that in opposite directions from a starting point.
