I really cannot express enough how dangerous it is to be around pregnant people when you are sick. Maybe nothing goes wrong but maybe months later there is something wrong and it is unclear whether the illness you spread to them is to blame. You might not even remember, but they will.

I don't know if I have any bird people who follow me but a very small mourning dove fell from their nest. It's very small, has some fluff but definite bald spots. We don't have a tall enough ladder to reach it back to the nest. We moved it from the pavement of our driveway.

I'm in the final weeks of my third (and final) pregnancy. I would cry with joy if I got a baby basket. Looking for baby items is so stressful and knowing you have some of the basic essentials would take some of the load off. It was also be a hand in one of the loneliest times.

PSA Neck gaiters are not masks. Neck gaiters are not effective at stopping the spread of airborne viruses. Masks, especially well-fitting ones are effective at preventing infection. Conflating the two is bad because it can encourage politicians to ban masks for the general public.
