Nou daar zijn we dan: de uitspraak. Of de minister het gaat doen is weer wat anders, maar de wet stelt dus dat de gegevens openbaar moeten zijn.

Rechter oordeelt: minister mag bedrijfsgegevens van boeren openbaar maken

De bedrijfsgegevens van honderden Flevolandse veehouders mogen openbaar worden gemaakt. Dat heeft de rechtbank in Utrecht vrijdag besloten. Milieustichting Mobilisation for the Environment (MOB) had om die openbaarmaking gevraagd en de minister van Landbouw, Visserij, Voedselzekerheid en Natuur wees dat verzoek toe. Vier agrarische belangenorganisaties die het daar niet eens waren, stapten vervolgens naar de rechter.

Volgens de rechtbank mogen de gegevens openbaar worden gemaakt omdat informatie over de hoeveelheid veedieren en de plek waar de koeien, varkens en kippen worden houden iets zegt over de methaanuitstoot en de gevolgen voor omliggende natuurgebieden. Volgens de wet moeten deze gegevens openbaar zijn.

Here’s the monthly data with a 12-month trailing average, so we don’t “look ahead” of the time series. We can see that visits from Canada are substantially down. Like, a *lot*. And if we looked at the French series by itself we’d see something too. But it’s not on the scale of Covid. Yet.

Ende September: Das #Matterhorn ist schneefrei. 😢 Der #Klimawandel setzt den #Alpen immer mehr zu. Laut MeteoSchweiz war es von April bis September in der #Schweiz so warm und so trocken wie noch nie in den vergangenen 160 Jahren.
