#RetroAchievements mastery #29: Speed Punks (PS1) "We have Crash Team Racing at home." More like Chocobo Racing at home! There's a few hours of fun to be had with this if you're a fan of kart racers, but anyone else, just stick to MK64, DKR, or CTR.

Adler mastered Speed Punks (Speed Freaks, to Europeans) in 12 hours, 26 minutes, and 43 seconds of RetroArch-logged time. "Problematic Duo" was the last achievement earned for the set.

Most of the decomps and PC ports you're hearing about are AI slop. Only play games on their original hardware or reputable emulators. Piracy is an overall good, but shit like this gives it a bad name.

If true (and I have no reason to doubt it) this is amazing news and should be reported more. We are also (slowly) fixing the hole in the ozone layer. As a species we can repair the damage we cause but we’d rather report just the negative stuff to create a mood of hopelessness.

No, I don't miss the days when I could say 'at least it was made by humans'. Those days never existed, as it was never a possibility what I watched or listened to wasn't. What I miss is taking for granted that everything I saw and heard online was made by human beings.

Todd in the Shadows also had AI-generated clips in his most recent video. He has stated on multiple occasions that he is anti-AI, but I believe he too used those clips not knowing what they were, or thought using them ironically gave him a pass. Still, disappointing.
