If I were running a university where staff spent weeks and weeks of time putting grant proposals together only for UKRI to feed them into LLMs without informed consent—effectively theft of the time and work—I’d be taking serious action to defend those staff. But I’m not running a university, so

Superb news! The £2 bus fare cap is being reinstated. But 1 in 5 rural and county bus routes have been cut since 2019. Communities also need proper funding and public ownership of buses. Let's keep all the cash in the system, not going out into shareholder pockets. @heidialexander.bsky.social
