Ok, I'm ready to wake up now. This nightmare is getting beyond ridiculous.

Every single member of this administration sees themselves, first and foremost, as a Content Creator™ It's like they staffed an administration with homeschooled aliens who learned about humanity through mainlining TikTok accounts. Just unbelievable levels of sweaty dorkiness.

Left back is a major issue especially with a midfield that is neither industrious nor agricultural enough. Only one of Wirtz/Dom/Grav should be playing as they play too far forward. Team needs time to gel but there are clear weaknesses that need upgrading. #Liverpool

That midfield is so weak. Only Mac Alister is actually willing to tackle. #Liverpool

I see Liverpool have adopted a 4-0-6 formation tonight.

Dafydd Townley @historydafydd.bsky.social · 14/08/2026

This is, quite frankly, astonishing.

Instead, I'll be spending the next hour on the driving range trying to work out the yardage on my new clubs.

If I had the time, I would watch this all day, every day.

Our defensive record this year is worse than the season we lost our first, second and third choice centre backs for the season. #Liverpool

Dafydd Townley @historydafydd.bsky.social · 15/05/2026

Not sure that the answer is to throw on three half fit players and rely on a 17 year old. But you never know. #Liverpool

Dafydd Townley @historydafydd.bsky.social · 15/05/2026

I feel like I've watched this match 36 times before this season. Roll on the summer. #Liverpool

Dafydd Townley @historydafydd.bsky.social · 09/05/2026

This has been a decidedly average game between two poor sides. Neither deserve to win this. #Liverpool

Dafydd Townley @historydafydd.bsky.social · 09/05/2026

We are so easy to defend against and so easy to attack. #Liverpool

Struggling to remember when our number 9 last saw the ball so little and then realised we're not playing with a number 9. #Liverpool

If Frimpong wasn't bought to be s fullback, why on earth did we buy him? He's not a winger. He probably playing in a system with a back 3.

Dafydd Townley @historydafydd.bsky.social · 09/05/2026

We are dreadful. Keeper has made a few important saves and Rio has looked positive but the rest can go in the summer. Awful. #Liverpool

Is it just me or have we completely taken the foot off the gas since the goal? #Liverpool

Gutted we lost. Was hoping for a fairytale comeback but was not to be. Should still be top 4.

000

Dafydd Townley @historydafydd.bsky.social · 03/05/2026

18 losses in a season. It's not just the manager's fault.

000

Dafydd Townley @historydafydd.bsky.social · 03/05/2026

You look at the Liverpool side and you think there's no goals in this team, so you think we'd be focused on defence.

000

Dafydd Townley @historydafydd.bsky.social · 03/05/2026

Woeful. It's been a comedy of errors and incompetence all season. ##Liverpool

Right. Are we cheering on City now?

Dafydd Townley @historydafydd.bsky.social · 19/04/2026

I thought Wirtz worked hard today but he's too far from Isak to be incisive in his passing.

000

Dafydd Townley @historydafydd.bsky.social · 19/04/2026

This. We were out fought for most of the game and created very little. Who's on the bench for the next game? I'm free if Slot needs me.

Dafydd Townley @historydafydd.bsky.social · 19/04/2026

Think it's safe to say that Chris Sutton doesn't rate Wirtz.

Dafydd Townley @historydafydd.bsky.social · 19/04/2026

29 minutes of mediocre at best rubbish and then Gakpo plays his best ball fo the season. #Liverpool second best so far but somehow we're in front.

000

Dafydd Townley @historydafydd.bsky.social · 14/04/2026

FWIW I don't think that this is yet Slot's side. Injuries, Jota, large number of transfers haven't helped him at all. The leaders in the team are fading in their ability to influence the game and those remaining don't yet have that same mentality. Top 5 and go again next season.

000

Dafydd Townley @historydafydd.bsky.social · 14/04/2026

Outplayed. Out-thought. Out-fought. And out of Europe. It feels like 2015 again. #Liverpool

Great finish that but he shouldn't have had the opportunity to shoot.

000

Dafydd Townley @historydafydd.bsky.social · 14/04/2026

#Liverpool need a ball winning 6 in the summer, someone prepared to put the opposition into row Z. There's no bite or energy in the midfield.

000

Dafydd Townley @historydafydd.bsky.social · 14/04/2026

What is Slot's game plan? I can't see what this side is trying to do, either before Ekitike's injury or since. #Liverpool

We don’t pay for Five Eyes. It’s a sharing organization among allies. A grouping that helps us tremendously. We benefit from intel sites around the world. Without them, we are blinding ourselves.

Dafydd Townley @historydafydd.bsky.social · 21/03/2026

And #Liverpool's defensive woes are not going to be fixed by the return from injury by an 18 year old central defender who's got less than 90 minutes for his side under his belt.

000

Dafydd Townley @historydafydd.bsky.social · 21/03/2026

And starting Rio is not the answer. The decay is a lot deeper than that. You can't just turn up for Champions League games.

100

Dafydd Townley @historydafydd.bsky.social · 21/03/2026

I would say that this Liverpool side is inconsistent and poor in the main, but I think that's looking on the bright side of things. They're dreadful, lacking quality and depth in a number of positions, weak at the back, and lack any nous going forward.

000

Dafydd Townley @historydafydd.bsky.social · 21/03/2026

Night and day first and second half performance from Liverpool so far. You can tell we played less than 72 hours ago.

000

Dafydd Townley @historydafydd.bsky.social · 21/03/2026

There is nonpace at all in this Liverpool side without Ekitike or Salah in it. Wirtz needs runners in front of him.
