As I said in my speech at conference, a train without level boarding is a job you can't take. All new Great British Railways trains will be level boarding, as standard. We’re building a railway that everyone can rely on. www.mirror.co.uk/news/politic...

From this Sunday, Chiltern passengers will travel on services back in public hands. Each step in renationalising the railway enables us to tackle what people care about most – better and more reliable services. We're building a railway that puts passengers, not profit first.

The bereaved families of military personnel should always be at the heart of our acts of remembrance as a nation. The extension of free rail travel to next of kin on national rail services to events between 7 and 8 November is the right thing to do. I am proud this Government is acting.
