However, we still don’t look like we know what to do with the ball in the box and we look so lightweight a lot of the time. We played with more confidence than I thought we would and that’s testament to Gary and his team. We will get better, I’m convinced of it #wafc

A nice perspective Pete and a reminder of how we all start with our team. Our club’s come a long way since we started going (1979 in my case) and while we seem to be going backwards atm, we will come back again. (And I do think things will improve this season.)

I for one have had enough of people who can barely speak English, living on benefits, ignoring our laws and wearing weird clothes that cover up their faces. So it was disappointing to see a few hundred of them gathered in Dover today.

On the other hand, I don’t believe for a second that we’ve got a bottom-of-the-table budget either. We need to get more out of these players and I do think we will improve but my goodness, do we need to. There was an absolute litany of weaknesses on display there today.
