If you accept this as her view, then it makes no material difference whether you are English or not. She clearly thinks you don't need to be English to be Prime Minister or any other senior job, so we can welcome all non English into society.

I think @lewisgoodall.com is profoundly wrong. If it is not wrong to kill as an absolute, then any argument (here a moral one) simply becomes one about where you draw the line (whose morality is paramount). State sponsored killing is a disgrace to humanity.

Someone said to me that there are frats everywhere, so why do I seem to have more ire for spaces like Cornell? Money & power. About 1/10 Cornell students have families in the top 1% of income. The institutions are by them, for them. This takes every other dynamic and amplifies it times over.

I hike in the mountains of southern California almost every weekend. I've been meaning to make an effort to look up all the varieties of pine. So yesterday I took lots of bark/needles/cones photos. Identifying the species is all but impossible IMHO.

We live in an building of 14 condos that is a few years old. It transpires that the developer cut lots of corners and the building is not safe. The developer has no liability because he (it's a man) has an insurance policy. The insurance policy reduces over time. All the insurance company has to do.
