why is learning arm anatomy so hard for you Jessi?" LOOK. LOOK AT WHAT ARMS DO.

A diagram showing first the arm in supination position an interior view of the bones laying respectably side by side.
The second image is of the arm and bones in pronation, defying god and logic. Twisted and sick and entwined like snakes. Proof of evil in this wretched world.

Just watched BATMAN (1989), and while I have seen this movie countless times, I was really struck by how artfully each shot was laid out. I don't think of it as an Every Frame A Painting movie, but dang if every frame isn't a painting.

Happy Valentine's Day — I own a TASM2 suit and love BLUE-- I felt like I *had* to homage the art of the late great Tim Sale and the unmatched romance of Peter (Andrew Garfield) and Gwen (Emma Stone). [Comic-Style version down below]

Love these scenes of the different Batmen from various eras all co-existing in their different styles. Jon Bogdanove did such a good job emulating the other Bat-artists' distinctive looks.

Even grim 'n' gritty 80s Batman isn't a fan of the Super-mullet.

The other Batmen all look suspicious of the Golden Age Batman. "Hrmm, the little credits box reads 'Bob Kane' but I've heard reports that's not quite true. Care to explain?"

I have now completed my duology of Burton/Keaton-based fan trailers inspired by @mattwag.bsky.social 's reimaginings of the early Golden Age stories! I've gone out of order, tho. So, here's my BATMAN: AND THE MONSTER MEN video, starring Anthony Hopkins as Hugo Strange. youtu.be/qZg6QaC_Y00?...

Even superheroes can catch a cold! — This is likely one of the silliest cosplay things I've ever done, but I love it. I love the scene from TASM2. I love to see Spider-Man saving the day while being just a guy. I love Andrew as Spider-Man. I *had* to do it!

'Just finished watching ep 1 of the Spider-Man show. It was *really* hard. I only liked Strange, Lonnie, and the pizza scene. The rest screams "MISSED OPPORTUNITY" like hell and both bores and annoys me to death. I don't think I'll be able to move past the first season with this one.

I've said it before and I'll say I it again, non-binary people are the lifeblood of the comic book industry. Without them books would go unlettered, pages would go uncolored, thousands of pitches would go unread, the Indy market would blink out of existence, and our group photos would look like shit

I am in love with this ReShade I've managed to make. When I was a child the LA movies, but I've always had this idea that *the real* superheroes were 2D beings who lived in a crazy world with primary colors and shadows as black as ink. It's so cool to be able to simulate Batman's world like this.

If I end up replaying "Batman: Arkham Knight" with my Retro Comic ReShade, I think this will be the suit I'll use in place of the armor Bruce gets in the game. The skin in question is by @medineer.bsky.social , who has to be a goddamn wizard cus this looks so awesome!
