I think it's pretty easy in retrospect to see what happened. The starting pitching worked out. Bullpens are always a crapshoot. But Bohm (#3 pick) never developed. Stott (first rounder) never developed. Marsh never got consistently better. It's mostly on Kevin Long. You need player development!

I think one of the key points is that it's not even getting play on most Top 40 stations. We have three here - I've heard it on the one that plays country pop sometimes (93.7) but not the other two. Obviously I could have missed it but I've heard Stupid Song and Midnight Sun probably 200 times each

Friend of mine from HS went to Columbia on an "academic" scholarship. The fact he was an all-state soccer keeper had nothing to do with it. Ended up spending a year or two as a 3rd stringer in MLS so worked out about as well as anybody could hope.
