thinking about this during pride this year a lot. i am very grateful to all the queer and trans folks that i have been lucky to know in my life. i am a better person for it and also just live a much more satisfying life by inhabiting my identity with intention rather than assuming it as a default.

I said this at the time but during the first 3 months of the year I rarely saw MPD in South Minneapolis.. it felt like a very noticeable absence. It almost seemed like they were hiding so they weren't forced to have to act on at minimum the out of control ICE driving that was happening every day?
