For victims of abuse, calling a helpline can be the first step to freedom. That’s why this Government is boosting funding for specialist services who are there to listen, offer support and guide those at risk to safety.

Disability assessments are notoriously incredibly traumatic and triggering. Many claimants have increased self-harm, suicidal ideation and sometimes hospitalisation before them. Imagine the pressure it would now be if 4 points ON ONE ITEM is necessary not just for PIP but LCWRA!

Could Labour stop infantilising their MPs who listen to disabled people, health professionals, and charities by suggesting they just don’t understand what’s being proposed and aren’t ‘the adults in the room’? A classic silencing tactic - follow the ethics.

Many things improve health outcomes, but let me tell you this: - Treating people as less because they can’t work doesn’t. - Giving disabled people less when disability costs more doesn’t. - And forcing people into poverty to ‘incentivise’ work? That definitely doesn’t.
