Proposal: friendbait.
"Clickbait" conveys a similar socially compelling vibe, with an equivalent counter-claim: the "problems" are only problems if there's nothing substantial behind the engagement.
It has almost nothing to do with the problems of gen AI, so "slop" doesn't fit.
"Friendbait" does.
