Sure. But most of the AI tools are already pretty decent at this. It was less of an "I can't remove the background on images anymore!" whine. More of a rant against the wind/the ol' business switcheroo of: "This is good, isn't it? You like it, don't you? Whoop... it's behind a paywall now!" 😒

A sad story in 3 images. 1. remove.bg (free background removal tool) is "moving to Canva" aka acquired 2. Canva's 'BG Remover' tool is only available to subscribers 3. Minimum is £13 a month. Sigh. Capitalism. "A competitor's doing something cool, for free. Quick buy them and monetise it!"

I’ve seen similar numbers. Bluesky users are more engaged, more likely to donate or pay for good journalism, and more likely to share it with their friends. Most people have self-selected to be here because they care, and it shows.

Yeah, you may have heard that 100k thing from me... if so, I apologise because, it seems that's wrong. The 100k limit is for a "Search Profile" (a bit like a Knowledge Box in the SERPs) whereas, apparently, the GSC data is for pretty much everyone. Though I'm yet to see it!
