It's right up there with "Apartment Beige", and I genuinely think being forced to accept these kinds of soulless color schemes is a huge portion of why RGB lighting, specifically RGB strips, has become incredibly commonplace. If I have to accept beige walls, I'm gonna light them pink.

It's both scary and cool as hell that I can tell roughly when the America 250 fireworks started in DC based off an air monitor map, and track how fast the smoke is moving. Be safe, DC.

This is a really good piece, but I'd argue that a repressed fear of death drove not just the cultural amnesia towards COVID, but accelerated the cultural shift towards the 1% attempting to jettison the rest of humanity and isolate themselves. Because suddenly, they were faced with death.
