You get a list of names and guess whether they are rock bands or racehorses.

Since this is the Australian Language Edition, they're limited to either horses that have raced in the Melbourne Cup -OR- bands/acts (not all of them ar actually "rock" bands, sorry that's music) that have been on the Triple-J Hot 100

3 rounds, no peeking at the answers, let's go!

Round 1: ZZ Stop. What's with all these Zs. Names are: Sheraz, Meduza, Razkalla, Zipping, Frenzal Rhomb, Torranzino, Zabeelionaire, and Zardozi.

Bonus Game: Ban on (Bands of) Horses.

You are a group of talking (and singing) horses who have decided to form a band and pursue a career in music. Now you've booked a lucrative gig at a swanky bar at the top floor of a skyscraper in the big city. It pays well, and you get the feeling it might lead to more great gigs later.

Unfortunately, when you arrive at the building in the afternoon to get set up, you notice a big poster that says NO HORSES ALLOWED. Apparently rival gangs of horses started a big fight two nights ago at the building, and the building owners have now hired a whole bunch of Security Goons to prevent any horses from entering the building. You will need to reach the top floor of this building without them finding out that you are a HORSE. Choose a Disguise from the list.

As you enter the building and attempt to ascend to the top, a Goon Manager (GM) will pit the Security Goons against you, placing Hurdles in your way to try and uncover your Disguises.

Disguises: HR Manager, Uncle, Mechanic, Accountant, Nurse.
HORSE Skills: H is for Hiding. O is for Obstructing. R is for Rocking Out. S is for Sneaking. E is for Ejecting (Kicking Someone or Something Out Of The Nearest Window)

A couple of very exciting impulse purchases from @fruitmarket.bsky.social while I was in Edinburgh on Monday! I've been wanting to get something else from Black Lodge Press for a while, and A Year in the Allotment is a charming zine. Plus reflections on being trans by the late, great Rachel Pollack.

Two booklets/zines are sitting on a cushion patterned with a psychedelic flower design.
