Finished the PlayStation port of Diablo 1 today. Would not really recommend, but it was a cool one time thing to play. If the load times could be reduced significantly, and frame rate improved, it would be a much better game.

The level requirements are starting to get intense and become a bit commitment to level up. All 4 bosses in episode 1 collectively make up over 75,000 exp so that is a nice bunch. Basically just grinding Toward the Future quest.

Something I dont see talked about is how AI has decimated the consumer PC market and set us on a trajectory towards our PCs being exclusively remote desktop / virtual environments only in the future. I dont think a lot of people understand that this is where we are heading as the next step.

Been curious about Dreamster the hybrid Mister FPGA core but couldn't think of a game I really wanted to play. Remembered EGG exists, decided to see if it would even run. Other than the audio does not really work, the game appears to play without any other issues.

I'm sad i've barely ever seen this game talked about. But Torneko the Last Hope is what i'm currently playing. I like the roguelike genre, and after completing Chocobo's Mysterious Dungeon on PS1, this was an obvious next choice.

Mister FPGA has custom made bios for some cores. Turns out you shouldnt use these even if they sometimes work just fine. The other times will turn into confusing troubleshoot sessions. 😅
