Floating Runner: Quest for the 7 Crystals (PS1) (1996) 1/4

Crystal Land is invaded by Zaurer, creating the one crystal to rule all them crystals and in the darkness grind them... *khkhm*

Spiky haired guy Cress and blonde bounty hunter Lay are on a quest to save the land, get all the crystals and defeat the baddies. We got Cress here with big polygonal (and untextured, like most of the game) hair, a cool white and blue outfit with a three-pronged flux capacitor on his back as well as floating hands and feet, showing what it would be like if Rayman was originally designed in Japan. Cress is standing on a lily pad on a small lake with very crunchy and pixelated textures, hopping like a lil' froggy man.

Our heroine, Lay with blonde hair and equally floating hands and legs, climbing a cool textureless low-poly tree by jumping on its branches, positioned around the tree trunk like a spiral staircase with most of the stairs missing.

Cress jumping around an orangey Doritos desert while avoiding a bunch of brown scorpions, big-butt spiders with a zig-zag yellow and black pattern and stone heads with evil eyes and a hexagonal third eye that shoots stuff.

Lay running on a wiggly pink path over a fantastical abstract space of very low resolution blue textures and floating white platforms as she arrives in front of a fluffy white pudding creature with little legs, cat ears and a long tail with two rectangular eyes, joined by a green fishy creature with a wide orange mouth and sensual lips.
