Oh no, not Dolly. 😭She did so much good, and brought so much joy, and made the world a better place. Probably the only famous person I've ever actually looked up to. 🦋

I've always liked bird watching, and now I'm obsessed with the Merlin app that I wouldn't know existed if it weren't for Bluesky.

I actually got out of the house today and went to a flea market. Got sunburned, bought a postcard for a dollar. It felt good to get away from the computer.

I know that it's silly, and there's much more important things going on, but man I'm so mad a how EA is wrecking the game I love.

Looking forward to see which cc creators reject this marketplace nonsense so I can support them instead🙂

000

OcotilloWren @ocotillowren.bsky.social · 03/03/2026

I don't mind cc creators having a patreon, doing a short early access period, etc. But I feel like being able to make big bucks on custom content has really changed the sims cc community for the worse, and it bums me out.

It's probably not good that the bobcats are so used to people now that we see them often, but they are so cute, and they are still skittish enough that they will take off if someone goes outside.

wizard cat has a very important message

a poorly drawn wizard cat, wearing a pointed hat and holding a wand, floating diagonally

the wizard cat raises its wand as a magical burst begins to appear behind it, what could it be?

a magical cloud fills most of the frame, containing handwritten text that reads: “your 2026 will be awesome!”

the wizard cat appears very small and distant seen from behind with its little cape spread wide, creating a cheeky farewell after casting its spell

I really hate having social anxiety. It sucks irl, and for some reason it extends to online too. In fact it's almost worse online. I want to be more social! I want to post and reply to other people's posts, but I struggle actually doing it. So dumb.

Seriously though, Gaston is one of my favorite villains. He's just a perfect uncomplicated self absorbed big dumb jerk. What would his backstory even be for goodness sake.
