Vibing so much with the Dredge art style that I tried my hand at emulating it to draw the Fisherman holding up one of the weird mutated fish, a three-headed cod. (No I did not draw the background, I used one of my screenshots, big brained work smarter not harder)🐟 #RazzdazzArt #fanart #artstyle

Artwork emulating the artstyle of Dredge and using a screenshot of the in-game ocean environment as a background - the Fisherman stands in the center of the frame while holding up a peculiar fish. The fisherman comments "This'n's a strange one, I'm sure o' that! Three headed cod, ever seen such'a thing?" The fisherman wears a green shirt and beanie and brown pants with suspenders.

strange things from the deep #jaradraws #fanart #dredge #dredgegame

An illustration of the fisherman from Dredge (2023). Against a black background, he is curled in on himself, his face in shadow as one hand covers it with a hand, one eye peeking out in a bright and panicked red, his head surrounded by similar panicked eyes. Floating around him are various objects including a fishing rod, several bizarre fish, a pair of glasses, a music box, jewelry, coins, a key, a book and a pocket watch.

I said this over on the bird site, but a fic published a few years ago isn't "old." Fic writers aren't content machines, and you don't owe anyone a constant output of new works to remain relevant. Your stories don't become unreadable after a certain date. Fics don't expire.

Dandadan is such a good show. It's got everything: balls (or...no balls?) to the walls alien fights, grumpy old ladies, sexy old ladies, heartbreaking scenes on the beautiful tragic smallness of human lives, giant crabs, plot relevant testicles....

Can't tell whether or not this is accurate. I do love a good slow burn though...

uquiz result: slow burn, described as loyal, organized and patient, you don't need instant gratification...but it is coming eventually, right? ...right???

Managed to watch scavenger's reign finally!! I really liked the papery fly things taking off right before the storm, that sequence was cool :o #ScavengersReign

Digital drawing of chalky, tubular spires, with a line of paper-like flies at increasing stages of taking flight as they go up the spire. Done with pencil brushes, and is monochrome.

I've only done one piece of Scavenger's Reign fanart despite every character, critter, and inscrutable horror being perfect babies 😌 #makifeed #scavengersreign

In a bird's eye view of a dense alien forest, Levi seems to have found themselves hanging upside down from weird pink vines covered in villi while Azi stands below looking trying to free them with her noisemaking stick. They are surrounded by bulbous fungi, creeping green moss, strange tree trunks, and fuzzy floating things. A little hollow climbs down one of the weird trees in the background.

we let the ocean drown out our voices/enjoying the bitterness/in the chaotic light, I close my eyes and see #dredge #art

black and white painting of the fisherman from dredge in the blackstone isle mansion, standing at a door frame with a lamp in hand, back facing the viewer. through something that looks like two consecutive doorways in front of him a similar man in round glasses peers back, his pose mirroring the fisherman's.

drawing of the fisherman from dredge standing in ankle-deep completely dark water that's swelling into a wave as it moves across the canvas. a stylized reflection of him stands upside-down under his feet, wearing dress shoes and slacks, holding a notebook instead of the round glasses in the fisherman's hand. the sky is lime green and the sun is eclipse dark. the rays of sunlight around the rim are stylized to look like lower lashes.

drawing of the top half of a boat's cargo haul viewport with the collector from the dredge's face reflected on it. he's looking up at something outside, where it's dark and a woman drenched in seawater suspends just within view, illuminated by the light inside the cargo haul and distorted by the collector's own reflection.

I think I might actually cry because Valerie PFKM isn't romanceable as a female character. It's like she was designed in a lab to be catnip for me, personally, as a bisexual woman...and yet all I can do is poke at her trauma, hypocrisy, and joan-of-arc coding from afar.

I fundamentally don't understand why people are making lists of the things they like, and at this point I don't want to - I'm going to bumble through this like a child and hopefully I never figure it out <3
