Yep! It was around forever, marketed effectively and relentlessly by Virgin Mastertronic, had loads of bangers and was reasonably priced. Nintendo UK were more or less useless prior to the Wii era, no leverage so many games came out late / in limited quantities /never and prices were prohibitive

We are aware that Steam has classified Nighthawks as an adult game and has excluded it from searches (and delisted it entirely in certain countries). We are working on it. Valve is under the impression that this game is way sexier than it actually is.

Finished Esoteric Ebb and that's a GOTY contender right there. The ending is overshadowed by a lot of "find out in the theoretical sequel" guff but the journey to get there was incredible.

Internally screaming at every Brand's use of 'staycation' to mean a trip away to somewhere else in the UK. I holidayed in Whitby and York this year. It wasn't a staycation. Had I taken time off and stayed at home? That'd be a staycation. Stop undermining domestic holidaying?

Another thing to check is localization. Even if you're not planning to localize your game's title check your EN name isn't accidentally slang or a homophone for something in your main markets. Both made up and real words are a trap/risk. This happens more than you'd expect.

Had the odd comment mentioning “sentimentality” in the Sony piece and listen: sentimentality is the point. Part of this is just about the fact we’re losing one of the final touchpoints of another world. It’s right to want to rage against that.
