“Yes, but” sloppy work for a stylebook. LLMs don’t. But, other AI systems do have thought-driven processes, goal directed behavior, and generate new knowledge from observation and inference - think/want/understand. You’re not helping the problem by generalizing LLMs as “AI”.

I hate doing the "a rollback of trans rights is the gateway for a rollback of women's rights" thing because trans rights are human rights in and of themselves, whatever the impact on cis women. But goddamn I wish more cis women had a sense of history and self preservation.

one of the biggest problems living in my car was just space for “I dont need this everyday, but i do need it some days” stuff. Locker would have made a huge difference if it was easy to get to and in/out of. Shelter had some sometimes, but the doors-open hours didn’t fit when I could be there 🙄
