report accounts harassing trans people to @moderation.northsky.social we'll label them AND the **big accounts** who encourage and permit their followers to harass trans people in their threads this kind of harassment gets trans people killed, and is the kind of "dog-piling" that requires action.

It's worth pointing out even after joining the Northsky PDS, a Bluesky appview ban still carries BIG consequences. At this time, we *do not* have our own appview, so a bsky appview ban will lock you out of signing in and posting. However, your account *will be preserved* and not deleted.

Good news! We've just finished moving away from our old clunky spreadsheet-based invite vetting pipeline, to a brand new shiny Invite Vetting Tool which is going to help us greatly accelerate how fast invites roll out. We're still doing the same level of manual vetting, but with better tooling!

Clarification. We only use our "doesn't tag nsfw" label for Northsky accounts, because the expectation from our Community Guidelines is that our users self-tag NSFW content. Reports of non-Northsky users to our labeler for this purpose are "out of scope" and we will not apply this label.

We're aware of moderation mutes/blocks not being respected in the app. This is due a technical limitation where they are private _to the appview_ and so blacksky appview isn't aware of them. We're testing a fix to resolve this. If you'd like to help us test, enable Beta Features under Settings

Update: We are finishing up testing of a fix, Search will not be addressed as it is not functioning for Blacksky. A fix will be deployed to address: - Unable to mention users - Logging in with a new account fails as app cannot fetch preferences

To further explain the AI preferences part of the settings on northsky.app. (since there's been questions) This is a way to flag to other ATproto services that you want to opt out of LLMs using your content. It's not pertaining specifically to our services/feeds/moderation which do not use LLM.
