Steve Nash @notthatstevenash.bsky.social · 04/10/2026City shouldn’t be allowed to play, in any form, men or women, until this is all over. Disgrace to the game. And don’t get me started on Bunny Shaw’s diving. An incredible player, but a sh*tty side to her game. 000

Steve Nash @notthatstevenash.bsky.social · 30/09/2026Utterly ludicrous decision that any iota of common sense would rule out immediately. It’s clearly not in play, and anyone who argues differently is just being disingenuous. A penalty kick is to punish foul play, not someone adjusting the ball to take a goal kick. 010
Steve Nash @notthatstevenash.bsky.social · 28/09/2026Listened to a couple of the usual Arsenal pods and unsurprisingly, it’s mostly about 114 FC. Some really good thoughts in there about sanctions etc. But what do you think €ity podcasts are saying this week? “We’re innocent!” “Should be a fine, everyone’s overreacting” OR “Kick the owners out”? 010

Steve Nash @notthatstevenash.bsky.social · 16/09/2026Absolutely love him as a player and as a signing, and think he has been a success… but I don’t understand how Eze gets a free pass vs the over-the-top vitriol directed towards Gyokeres. Was useless last night, and has done nothing all season (so far). 210

Steve Nash @notthatstevenash.bsky.social · 04/09/2026To me, it feels a bit strange that Miles is still listed on the website as a defender. He hasn't played there this season, barely did last season, and we have 2x 'first-choice' LBs. He's an emergency defender at most. In the same way Rice and Zubi are emergency RBs (although hopefully not any more). 100

Steve Nash @notthatstevenash.bsky.social · 01/09/2026My extremely lukewarm take from last night was that Merino and Zubimendi looked excellent when coming on. And Bruno was a level above that. Not bad that we can change our entire midfield and have those three come on. So my comfort with the Ethan loan stems from that. 010

Steve Nash @notthatstevenash.bsky.social · 21/08/2026Genuine question: does Konsa get a ‘walk-out’ before the game today? Does he deserve/warrant/expect it? Is it weird if he does or weird if he doesn’t? Tzolis didn’t get one, Bruno did. Not sure 60k go mad for Konsa in same way as for Eze, for example. 000
Steve Nash @notthatstevenash.bsky.social · 20/08/2026I see the new narrative to start the season with is that if we don’t win the title by AT LEAST 10-15 POINTS, we will be the worst champions ever™… again, obvs 100

Steve Nash @notthatstevenash.bsky.social · 12/08/2026While it is FAR from ideal to start the season with 'only' our existing attacking options, I think there are pretty coherent arguments for expecting a greater output from our current forwards: for one, Kai, Odegaard and Saka only scored NINE goals between them in the PL last year. 130
Steve Nash @notthatstevenash.bsky.social · 11/08/2026Starting to think that a lot of the 'rumours' out there are all about trying to make us fans feel better about NOT DOING ANYTHING ELSE. Steve Nash @notthatstevenash.bsky.social · 29/07/2026Surely there's a point - and I can't believe that point hasn't already been passed and is not a rapidly disappearing dot in the background - where other members of FIFA say, "This guy's a lunatic" and oust/sack/outvote/vote of no confidence the bald criminal? Steve Nash @notthatstevenash.bsky.social · 23/07/2026This is what bothers me about how Ornstein et al have been reporting the Garnacho deal. This is from his own publication, clearly showing how the deals are linked and the only way they can only work together so both sides benefit. So to add the "unrelated to Rogers transfer" line is unforgivable. 150

Steve Nash @notthatstevenash.bsky.social · 16/05/2026City have numerous 'teflon' players: the most obvious is clearly Bernardo Silva, who can punch, foul, grapple and never get a free-kick given against him, let alone a card. Khusanov is rapidly gaining ground on him. Could/should have had three penalties against him and at least two yellow cards. 100

Steve Nash @notthatstevenash.bsky.social · 11/05/2026To make it clear, VAR neither handed Arsenal the title (it ain't over yet) nor relegated WHU (Spurs could still 'Spurs' it up)... WHU have had 35 other mostly terrible games, and Arsenal have had 35 other games where they've (largely) done pretty well, at least better (so far) than everyone else. 130
