Just seen this comment on a YT video and it sums up the deluded €ity fans nicely....

Not sure the League can continue until this is sorted. Just assume the ref has been paid off. We need City gone asap.

Drury needs to be demoted for a few games. You can’t praise this team considering what’s going on right now, and you definitely can’t say they’re “beautiful” when they have permanently stained the entire game.

City players kicking the ball away every time at free-kicks… never given even a warning. Trossard watching and wondering.

Check the ref’s bank account.

Both Guehi and Anderson massively benefitting from the ‘England player’ leniency that Harry Kane got for years. And then a Liverpool player gets sent off for NOTHING.

Steve Nash @notthatstevenash.bsky.social · 11/10/2026
Anderson just falls to the ground ALL THE TIME. He doesn’t win any duels, he just asks the ref to give him a free-kick when he loses, and unfortunately the refs often do.

Timber’s going to have to play left back now though (soon).

And Saka's played more minutes than anyone else (bar possibly Guehi) in the previous three games (90 vs Croatia, 83 vs Spain, 71 vs Czech Republic). Hope he has a rest.

City shouldn’t be allowed to play, in any form, men or women, until this is all over. Disgrace to the game. And don’t get me started on Bunny Shaw’s diving. An incredible player, but a sh*tty side to her game.

Probably just end up with the Man City board having to write essays about their financial malfeasance.

One thing that keeps coming up is, "What about post-2018?" and I guess that will have to follow this enquiry/appeal/verdict. This case was only for the period of the leaks which covered to 2018... I don't think anyone would believe for a minute that they've been squeaky clean since then.

So... wait... the earth-shattering, game-changing, "irrefutable evidence" is the stuff they already claimed and put forward to the committee and it was already... err... REFUTED?

Ridiculous this is ever given at professional level, even at grass roots level. If penalty is not given, no one bats an eye-lid. A penalty is a punishment for foul play, potentially denying a goal. Not that. Ludicrous.

Steve Nash @notthatstevenash.bsky.social · 30/09/2026
Utterly ludicrous decision that any iota of common sense would rule out immediately. It’s clearly not in play, and anyone who argues differently is just being disingenuous. A penalty kick is to punish foul play, not someone adjusting the ball to take a goal kick.

Listened to a couple of the usual Arsenal pods and unsurprisingly, it’s mostly about 114 FC. Some really good thoughts in there about sanctions etc. But what do you think €ity podcasts are saying this week? “We’re innocent!” “Should be a fine, everyone’s overreacting” OR “Kick the owners out”?

Steve Nash @notthatstevenash.bsky.social · 27/09/2026
City have come out and said that no player has a ‘relegation’ clause in their contract, but no word on whether there’s a ‘kicked out of football’ clause.

Man City players all looked scrambled: Guehi and O’Reilly making huge clangers to gift two goals, Anderson playing like a ghost…

Guehi playing like a man with a lot on his mind, like where he might be playing next season, in which division… etc

Thinking even of this summer, and the Elliot Anderson fee's impact on every single deal to follow. It's hard to fathom how much this has altered everything.

And I have a feeling the Club would lose out on some pre-match revenue. If people know they can drink throughout the game, they might not pile into the beers beforehand. I would actually be an advocate for you being allowed to take your pint to your seat but the bars closing for 35 mins per half.

I mean it did happen a bit at the UCL Final.

Steve Nash @notthatstevenash.bsky.social · 24/09/2026
This is the biggest issue at the rugby. And it's constant. Much as I love a pint at the ground, I have no interest in drinking in the seat really. Takes the pressure off queuing at half-time, that's literally the only benefit.

What the actual F? Watching the Arsenal game on Disney+ and it just went to an ad break! In the middle of the second half?! WTF????

I think ‘never’ is a bit harsh. We have just won the title. But the last time we scored four because the oppo scored three was Luton, I guess. But as Lewis points out, it’s just a lot easier to never (or very fairly) concede three in the first place.

I have said to @cartoonstevebould.bsky.social many times that I am very relieved (as was he) that I was not in the ground that afternoon, as I might have rioted.

Steve Nash @notthatstevenash.bsky.social · 22/09/2026
Yeah, I feel if it had been a red initially I would have had less of a problem with it. The overturn seemed harsh. And yes, water under the bridge, Champions now, etc.

Memory is hazy, but think they agreed with it. But also contradicted themselves within a week by overturning some similar/identical ones. Dale obviously said it was right, so it was clearly wrong.

Absolutely love him as a player and as a signing, and think he has been a success… but I don’t understand how Eze gets a free pass vs the over-the-top vitriol directed towards Gyokeres. Was useless last night, and has done nothing all season (so far).

To me, it feels a bit strange that Miles is still listed on the website as a defender. He hasn't played there this season, barely did last season, and we have 2x 'first-choice' LBs. He's an emergency defender at most. In the same way Rice and Zubi are emergency RBs (although hopefully not any more).

A Republican lies. I'm not sure they even know they are doing it any more, it's just like breathing to them. They are so far removed from the truth, it's a dot on the horizon.
