What’s your legacy Johnson? Brexit. Total collapse of trust in politics. And this. The small boats symbolise your dishonesty and your failure. You’re responsible for nothing but damage. Not one good thing. Not one proud moment. You’re forever a shameful disgrace who threw his own mandate in the bin.

It's a disaster, and it can all be traced to Labour ideology. Burnham has no mandate from the people. He has no real ideas, and no plan.

We should ask ourselves why this is something a Labour Prime Minister feels the need to refute. After 16 years of austerity, a tax and spend socialist is just what we need.

Don't be fooled into thinking that a "free market" only exists when corporations get to "self-regulate" and do whatever they want. And don't be led to think that the government is "intruding" into the market when it crafts laws to protect the public. The real issue is power — and who has it.

A third of nurses and a third of doctors were born overseas. Without immigrants the NHS would collapse. You are more likely to be treated by an immigrant than to be behind one in a queue. Massive underfunding of our NHS and lack of social housing were a political choice.

Reform say they'll force school children to sing hymns. Only 5% of Britons go to church. So what we have here is a religious minority forcing their wishes on the majority, and refusing to integrate with Britain's culture. They should go and live somewhere else. According to Reform.

Yes. Johnson absolutely couldn’t have wise MPs in his party. His ego couldn’t hack people who saw him for what he really is, rather than what he pretended to be. His whole Brexit fantasy couldn’t be torched by truth-tellers either. It’s been a swift plummet into far right lunacy from there.

I’m fed up with politicians saying we need to “respect” the result of the 2016 Brexit referendum. A decision by a narrow majority 10yrs ago, that turned out to be a costly mistake, does not have to be “respected”. If a democracy cannot change its mind it ceases to be a democracy.

Agree. UK media in general is letting us down. BBC is only apart of this. It’s just that, when the BBC lets us down, it is worrying since it’s all we have against the billionaire-owned propaganda machine. We desperately need a properly functioning BBC, un-nobbled by rightwing Tory appointments.

Interesting reference just now to "the left-leaning Daily Mirror" on the Today Programme. I hope this practice is going to become routine, & that we'll be reminded of the political affiliations of The Daily Telegraph, The Mail, The Sun, The Express & The Times. It would actually be quite healthy.

Claims and ideas which happen to favour the ruling class don't dominate public life by accident. They're paid for by oligarchs and corporations then promoted by media outlets other oligarchs and corporations own. Once they've been drummed into our ears enough, they're internalised as "common sense".

They'll hurt adults too: adults will have to compromise their privacy in order to 'pass' the age verification systems, passing on critical data to untrustworthy companies. Some will be chilled away from using services or visiting websites at all. This does not just harm kids. It harms everyone.

I’m quite angry about this. Neither the ICO nor the government care about children’s *or adults’* privacy in any real way. They’re pushing age verification, inherently privacy-intruding, denigrating encryption, and much more. It’s either hypocrisy or stupidity.

This is discriminatory, however they want to frame it. One driver out of 300 doing 117mph does not provide a good enough reason for this. When you have a scheme aimed solely at disabled drivers then by the very definition of it it is discrimination. www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...

Saying “I don’t like the Tories, Labour etc so I’m going to vote Reform“ is like saying “I don’t like burgers so I’m going to eat a toxic waste tip instead”. Admittedly, for many years, we have had to vote for the least bad Party. But there is no reality in which Reform is the least bad Party.
