I am here to sing the praises of Flock. It's a beautifully candy colored world, with a hint of melancholy, wrapped around a lightweight game of finding elusive beasts and identifying them. We found it while teaching our kid to always be observant when walking/hiking/camping, and it was perfect.

ALMOST finished with the big v2.0 update of Free Company, coming to my patreon soon. Includes a bit of a map shake-up to fix some ahistorical stuff like the fact that the Serbian Empire wasn't that big in 1370. Its place on the map is now taken by the Banate of Bosnia and a sliver of Hungary

I deleted a more acid take than I usually have. There's some sympathy for TKG, as they can't pay for every submission, and picking the deserving writers they know of cuts out others. Discoverability continues to be the worst miniboss of the games business.
