It’s finally not too early for us to have our decorations up. I haven’t had these up for a month or anything….

I can guarantee that if characters in our books get an HEA, it IS an HEA. They’re not going to die. Not going to split up. They’re safe. Maybe that removes some of the angst and drama, but oh well One of the benefits of being in the romance genre. If it’s not a romance it’ll be clearly marked

Had to reread Gilgamesh recently - why did I never realize how queer it was the first time I read it? Gilgamesh and Enkidu’s relationship was of a depth that can only be explained by the deepest love. And yes, I do think friends can have deep love, but theirs felt like more.
