CEO compensation has increased 1,316% since 1978. And worker compensation? Just 28%. The system is rigged. We need to start taxing the rich so they pay their fair share.

A friend has Covid right now. They have lost their sense of smell and they're having cognitive problems. This hit me today, as it often does: we made, and continue to make, a huge collective mistake in allowing a virus that impacts the brain to transmit unmitigated globally.

Plus a $2.9B tariff refund this year, which comes after it jacked up prices on consumers. Walmart now claims that its refund will go towards lowering prices. But how much will actually go towards providing some relief to consumers instead of more stock buybacks and lucrative exec pay packages?

The North Pole at night, hand-tinted in blues and purples so it looks more like a moonscape. Protruding from the ice is the cross-sectioned head and neck of a man, his brains on display.
