Yes, an information vacuum is bad. But throwing out tiny morsels that invite speculation every 8-12 hours while offering no actual narrative or explanation might be the one thing that's worse.

Given Cheshire Police seem unconcerned, can they at least explain why they are not worried given nearly everyone apart from his current wife seem very worried!?!? Have the police visited and spoken with Fiennes?
Cheshire Police have said they are aware of the concerns regarding Sir Ranulph, and are satisfied he is living in an appropriate setting with suitable care.

If only I could have the optimism that train trackers have that a delayed train will make up for lost time before the end of its journey. ALWAYS does it, NEVER happens, trains just get further delayed (not least because of how congested the system is).

As a dog owner and someone who repeatedly says it won't be AI that kills us, it will be humans, I still think this point is absolutely valid. Control the owners AND control the dogs. If AI is given free rein that's a human error but we still need AI controls because we know humans will make errors.

On the basis she's pretending to be real, kinda, she's an appalling actress. Her facial expressions and tone and manner is clearly computer generated, so I won't rush to see whatever shite she's in. I doubt humanity is threatened by this....

Could we hear from Britain's poorest people rather than mega wealthy ones who don't even live in it!? For someone who has so much, to moan is tedious. Give us the views of somebody with nothing, they will be more worthwhile.

Dare I suggest that Russia, USA and China - as long as they want solo global dominance - may find the whole of Europe plus Canada, Australia and many more, end up building alliances and partnerships to end up on a more equal footing.

What I love about Western democracy is you can bung a political party £ 36 million earned from criminal activity & most media will continue to point at asylum seekers & migrant care workers with families as the barbarians at the gate we need to defend ourselves from 🙄.

It's all well and good MPs voting down assisted dying, then fucking invest in palliative care so people aren't dying in agony because their village didn't hold a fucking bake sale to support the local hospice. This country treats death with disdain, and I see ZERO hope of that changing.

Little in how BBC News present this story suggests it's a liar lying which all previous evidence would support. Just because someone is in a formerly respected public role (indeed, especially in that circumstance) media should not accord them respect. They must earn it. www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...

The RNLI have some of the best people in Britain volunteering for them. They put their lives on the line when they are called on and they will rescue anyone who needs them. Because every life matters, and offering help is the right thing to do. You can donate here: rnli.org

Hopefully not in that simplistic form. It didn't 'give' votes for women, it conceded eventually when women demanded what was rightly theirs. There should be no praise for eventually doing the right thing. Same with abolishing slavery and probably everything else the British empire 'did'.

EVERY single time the media uses the word migrant to describe a human being, they contribute to the despicable inaccurate portrayal of desperate people trying to find a better life. It's unnecessary and it's how dehumanisation leads to genocide and war.

I come back to one of the cheaper, most populist policies you could do is to create a 'BBC Sport' channel and ensure it has FTA rights to major live sporting events. Sport is one of our few remaining cultural unifiers. And the BBC is basically giving up on it - cutting budgets and abandoning icons

It’s still utterly baffling to me how much political capital has been spent in this country on banning teenagers from social media, rather than regulating an algorithm that is currently pushing pro-Adolf Hitler content into peoples news feeds. This is also dangerous to adults, and needs regulation.
Joel Tenney on Facebook: So much of what led up to WWII we were never taught, these things were never in our history books but the information is public, l've been sharing to my audiences facts about Germany from 1933-1945 that they were never taught or researched, just remember the enemy was communist Bolsheviks and ultimately they won the war, the winner always tells history thru their biased lens like President Trump as he makes history with this war with Iran he shapes it to his own liking.

Below the text is a video of a man, presumably Joel, with some text overlayed: So you're telling me the most evil man to have ever lived; closed down all the child brothels. Stopped transgenderism, banned gay/child porn and banned abortion on his first day in office? And he and 95% of the country were Christain.Comment on the post by Rich Stubbings: Never thought I'd live to see people waking up to the truth. I've known this for the past 20 years - just listening to the speeches in English is all you need if you have an independent mindComment from Jon Hawkins: The Austrian painter was right, the world didn't listenComment from Freddy Canedo: I am sorry great Austrian painter we miss understood what you were trying to prevent
The world misjudged you
We need you now more than ever

This just isn't a news story at all. It's the sort of thing that happens every day on social media (criticism of a person's social post) and it's bad enough when there's a pile on there, but for the BBC to pick it up and claim it's news is ridiculous: www.bbc.co.uk/news/article...
