An indicator of an incoming government's performance is the number of former cabinet ministers it contains. The Whitlam government was destined to have issues. The government of Edmund Barton did OK due to the number of ministers from the 6 colonies. (Tosspot Toby doing good himself, not so much.)

RS with your home river. Hobart lies on the Derwent River. North of Hobart, the Derwent is a broad river. South of Hobart it is an estuary. Here is the Derwent river from the southern suburb of Hobart.
The River Derwent as an estuary. Behind the river is Taroona High, a collection of school buildings mostly built in the 1960s Australian style.

Fun fact: Queen Mary of Denmark was a pupil at Taroona High, along with other, lesser, mortals.

The reason we suffer Cavendish bananas is that they were the variety mst resistant to disease. Now that they’re not, we’d be much better off GMing a different, more flavourful variety than continuing to grow Cavendish. I remember my first experience of bananas in Samoa. Peak banana.

Four frames. 1. Terns on a beach. One says to another, “I feel sick.” 2. A fur seal on a beach beside lots of dead birds thinks, “I feel sick.” 3. A woman reads a series of news headline placards with “BIRD FLU JUMPS SPECIES”, “MORE HEAT WAVES, FIRES”, “NO END OF WARS”; she thinks, “I feel sick”. 4. The world, with fires and explosions everywhere, thinks, “I feel sick.”
