This does raise the question for me: what is it about Pokemon in particular that makes it so that no matter their size or weight they can fit into a pokeball? They're way too genetically varied for it to be a DNA thing. Someone has to have tried stuffing a human into one by this point.

I feel like an alternate, episode 6.5 if you will, timeline where Anakin lives is perhaps too deep and dark for what Disney would be willing to produce. Maybe a novelization could work though. Just Anakin Skywalker wandering the galaxy on a journey of accountability and atonement.
