Tried to celebrate Out Run’s 40th by playing the PC Engine version on Analogue Pocket, but sadly the OpenFPGA core is causing this horrible glitch - both with the HuCard/adapter and with a ROM. I’ve emailed @analogue.bsky.social and hoping for a fix. It’s not exactly an obscure game!

Okay so @defector.com has had an odd glitch since the site redesign a couple of weeks back where the wrong photo and headline are often put together on the main page and I was going to ask them about fixing it but this just happened and as far as I'm concerned they have to leave it as is.

Heartbreaking. Similar to how I felt when I was living in Lymington in the idyllic New Forest during the Brexit vote. Overnight, my seemingly friendly, peaceful neighbours showed their true faces: those of bigoted, xenophobic, hateful nationalists. I moved the kids back to London shortly after.
