For ages the art of making meringue escaped me, weepy, chewy splodges with the consistency of cheap nougat. But undeterred, I persevered & finally cracked it, cooking them on our heavy duty baking sheet. These will be added to a bowl of whipped cream with raspberries & strawberry syrup .
