Give them a really good scrub (you can use wire wool) or they can go through the dishwasher. Dry thoroughly ( a warm oven or low hob works well), then apply a very thin layer of flax oil and place upside down in the oven. Bake at 250ºC/480º * for around 40 mins * as hot as your oven will go

We love our jam kettle, but whilst it wouldn’t look out of place in the Downton Abbey kitchen many of you told us it’s too big for the modern home. We listened, we heard you, we got it. So we’ve made a smaller one; ideal for domestic jam making on a 21st century scale. NFS-597 on the website
