In all seriousness, I just think its interesting. Many, many Americans never interact with their Senator's constituent services (though I have, actually). That voters who are otherwise "low-info" do sometimes, and that it can play a decisive role, is genuinely useful information.

This is what women on the right say about another woman who was gang raped. These are the same people our current Dem leadership thinks should be allowed to participate in normal society after we wrest control from the psychos.

No one is represented if your opinion is: 10/7/2023 was one of the worst days, because of the war crimes that day AND the genocide that followed, and no civilian deaths are worth celebrating even if the death tolls are grossly unequal, and there is simply nothing to do today but mourn everyone.

Shouldn't the Democrats have something like an Elon Donations Tracker posted on all of their websites and social media? Make this SALIENT? Might it make sense to point out repeatedly that he is a white supremacist and ask the public why he would be backing the GOP?

The Bulwark did a Focus Group episode on Maine voters, and apparently Collins excels at constituent service--one woman basically credited Collins with her mom being alive and felt genuinely obligated to vote for her forevermore.

3 years since Oct. 7. Count me among those who were appalled by the atrocity and appalled knowing atrocity would follow. Made things worse for just about everyone, except a few awful people who exploited it, and has left so many innocent people dead or suffering. I wish none of this had happened.

Legendary actress Eva Marie Saint has died at 102. She is perhaps best known as the seductive secret agent in Alfred Hitchcock's 1959 thriller, "North by Northwest." Before that, she won an Academy Award for best supporting actress for "On the Waterfront," opposite Marlon Brando.

I'm just gonna bookmark this for future reference when Dem pundits complain about how the party has trouble communicating its message to voters. The reason you keep running into trouble with your branding isn't campus radicals. The reason is that your opponents purchased all the media outlets.

I'm not sure what to say to that, except I strongly disagree. What Vance advocates there is clearly an autocratic Presidency, very much up to the Andrew Jackson reference.

He’s not saying Yarvin is too extreme. He’s saying he’s too pessimistic and establishing control over “liberal” institutions and “de-Baathification” are the answers.

I understand that. And maybe “favorite public intellectual” is an exaggeration. But they share a benefactor, he considers him a friend, is aware of his ideas and thinks they don’t go far enough. That’s not q non-relationship.

1. Lake Mead is down to about a quarter full — the lowest that’s ever been recorded. The white line is where the water used to be. When it gets this low, cities and farms lean harder on groundwater, and in a lot of places we’re already pumping that out faster than it refills.
