Richard Meier's last collection, After the Miracle, was published shortly before his death. Many of the poems (such as this one) were written with the knowledge that time was short. It's an exceptional book, full of life, and I recommend you grab a copy asap! happenstancepress.com/index.php/co...

pro-bookbinding tip: following the careful application of beeswax it is vital to keep any newly waxed thread both near at hand and tangle-free
a small fairly fresh bar of beeswax with friction-grooves where linen thread has been pulled through (background: black dog at rest; not needed for this part of the process)the soft-furred curve of a dog’s long muzzle is the perfect perch upon which to hang thread prior to sewing(understandably the dog soon begins to question for how long she will have to maintain such a position)
