Saved my allowance money to buy a CD player and this is the first CD I ever bought. 🤩 It launched me into a lifelong love of Genesis in all their iterations. The bass on Just a Job to Do absolutely slaps. It’s Gonna Get Better is a great ending. And of course Mama and HBTS/SHBTS are classics.

I spent a summer working for an electric construction company. I was only 21. We weren’t ever allowed to sit down on the job but I got tired sometimes. I remember one day, I squatted down to give my feet and knees a rest and the foreman kicked me from behind. Cruel and stupid indeed.
