Lots of (positive) Florida moments today. Let me share this one with you. Yes, I was stopped to let them cross. This was on the road out of a tiny town with a low speed limit and no traffic.
A wooded FL 2-lane stretch of empty road. On the left, 3 deer are contemplating crossing the road from a grass lot.Same as before, one deer almost across, another headed into the road. One deer frolics across the road. One deer finishes crossing the road.

Before Trump it was just assumed that all this background machinery type shit was in the hands of career civil servants who followed carefully prescribed legal and administrative procedures and one thing DOGE really focused on was disrupting that. Do not assume it still works like that!

They make more specific labels, too. "Dishes" etc. But don't label the stuff you think might get stolen. Grandma's jewelry goes in the middle of the towels. Also, using every bit of sheets/ towels to wrap breakables.

I say screw em. Because i still end I having to move them around inside the house/ room as a figure shit out long after the movers are gone. And I can't shift a big box of books, but I can do little ones.

Liquor store boxes. Small, sturdy. You can carry an entire box (or more if you're not me) without feeling like you're going to drop it. Yes, it's makes for more boxes, and it looks like you have a drinking problem, but so much easier to move.

99999999 to 1 we have much more power than we give ourselves credit for. especially when you take into account that ALL these rich pricks' wealth is tied up in equity and debt, one leveraged against the other. all it takes is enough economic pressure to push it out of balance and they're ruined.
