On 30th April 1922, 750 British forces, 85% of them Black and Tans arrived I in Haifa, Palestine having travelled from Ireland by boat after the Irish War of Independence had ended. They were led by Major-General Henry Hugh Tudor who had been one of Churchill's Generals fighting the IRA in Ireland.

A 120-page filing has been submitted to the ICC accusing FIFA's President Infantino and UEFA's President Ceferin of "aiding and abetting war crimes (specifically, the transfer of civilian population into [Palestine] occupied territories) and crimes against humanity (specifically, apartheid)."

Complaint accusing the Presidents of FIFA and UEFA of aiding in war crimes and crimes against humanity in the occupied Palestinian territory has been filed with the Office of the Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court.

FIFA President Infantino and UEFA President Čeferin have been accused of aiding and abetting war crimes (specifically, the transfer of civilian population into occupied territories) and crimes against humanity (specifically, apartheid) under the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court (ICC). The Communication was formally filed with the ICC Office of the Prosecutor on 16 February 2026.

The British Director General of RTE, Kevin Bakhurst, seems to want to prioritise getting his newsroom to import this issue from the UK, for some reason:

One topic he has looked into is coverage of transgender issues.

“I asked a few programme teams about why they hadn’t done a particular story, which was actually in the UK. Individually, two or three programme teams I spoke to said there were other stories they thought were more important on the day,” he said.
