NEW: Tomorrow, SCOTUS will consider dramatically limiting mail voting. The question at hand? Whether ballots postmarked by Election Day, but that arrive after, should count. Depending on how the justices rule, millions of voters could be disenfranchised in future elections. bit.ly/4bANHnB

If Satanyahu is dead, I think its definitely possible, that could be a way for Trump to end this war by circumventing any blackmail. Either Trump could have arranged it himself or just shared the location with Iran. I wouldn't put it past Trump to do this to get out of this jam.

Trump after midterms might become even more unhinged and unrestrained. However, Israel might drop its more hardline rhetoric after Israel elections, especially if Bibi loses and heads to prison for corruption charges.

Iran needs to extract a high price - reparations and sanctions relief - before agreeing to end this war. Without that, Israel and US will come back and bomb them again in a few months. Also, if Iran is economically weakened, it might collapse due to internal instability.

Given that Pedon Musk has an opinion on everything, why is he so quiet about Iran war? Is it because he could later claim that he was always against it? If he is not pushing back now, then he is complicit.

Eveyone is forgetting whatelse is at play...the fate of Netanyahu. Once US/Israel accept their defeat, declare cease-fire and leave, Bibi will see that no pardon will come from the Israel President...with the result, Bibi in jail for corruption. Justice served & Good riddance!

The post mortem of 2024 is a classic in only acknowledging the top line result, rather than thinking what par would have been for the starting position. Hemorrhaging votes in solid Labour areas should have been a massive warning light.

In 2020, trump said it was “stupid” that America spent trillions on Middle East conflicts while our healthcare, roads, and schools needed fixing. Now look what he’s doing. Same wars. Same costs. Same neglect at home. The only thing that changed was the excuse.

“What we have seen right now is 100 little girls killed in a school… And our President is saying that the Iranian people are all of a sudden going to topple their regime. Well, I don’t think the Iranian people are going to be toppling their regime when they’re getting blown apart by the US and Israel in an unprovoked attack. And yes it was unprovoked.”

“I am irate. I am furious about this… What is happening to the man I supported… The man that said no more regime change wars. We’re a year in and we’re in another fucking war — and American troops are being killed.

We need to have a serious conversation about what the fuck is happening to this country.”

🔴 BREAKING: Fragmentation Munition Impact Reported in Bnei Brak, Fires Reported in Central Israel

Israeli and Iranian Telegram channels shared footage showing damage in Bnei Brak, east of Tel Aviv, after what Iranian IRGC-affiliated media described as an Iranian fragmentation munition impact in the city.

Separate videos circulated online show fires burning in what was reported as central Israel following the impact. It was not immediately clear whether the fires and the reported strike in Bnei Brak refer to the same site.

Iranian For. Min. Abbas Araghchi writes that Secretary of State Rubio “admitted what we all knew,” claiming the US has entered a “war of choice on behalf of Israel.” He added there was never any Iranian “threat” & said bloodshed is “on Israel Firsters,” urging Americans to “take back their country.”

Seyed Abbas Araghchi
@araghchi
Mr. Rubio admitted what we all knew: U.S. has entered a war of choice on behalf of Israel. There was never any so-called Iranian "threat".

Shedding of both American and Iranian blood is thus on Israel Firsters.

American people deserve better and should take back their country.

Tory frontbencher James Cleverly opposes Labour's elections bill partly as "it does not include effective measures to tackle foreign interference from China and other hostile actors." Pretty brave coming from someone who served in the last Government. They left the floodgates open for 14 years.
