I don’t think any fountain pen is more intimidating than another, until you hold a really expensive ones then it’s like “don’t fuck it up” In that case I would stick with the ones like Safari where you have the nib part, the converter, and the back portion. Easy to maintain, and so many options!

It’s a pump style so you can never really take it apart, but I’ve always treated it like my Safari or any other pen. Treat them with care and you’ll be fine. It’s not that delicate. tbh the Twsbi isn’t my favourite because I like to totally disassemble a pen to clean it, but it’s still easy enough.
