Why not micromobility? Not arguing, but I've decided on that term in a piece I'm working on. Mainly about e-bikes, plus everything else.... bikes plus kinda thing...

My favorite would be mine, MI-04. Since I was a teen, it seems Fred Upton had been the moderate Republican in that seat. He decided to retire and vote for Trump's impeachment at the same time, it seemed. Now we have Trump puppet Huizenga.

Front cover text:
"WHAT WILL HAPPEN WHEN AMERICA HAS A DICTATOR?
IT CAN'T HAPPEN HERE
A Novel by
SINCLAIR LEWIS"

Background includes an image of a red fasces with a green olive branch.

Back cover text:
"'Vulgar, almost illiterate, a public liar easily detected… He was an actor of genius'

A vain, outlandish, anti-immigrant, fear-mongering demagogue runs for President of the United States – and wins. Sinclair Lewis's chilling 1935 bestseller is the story of Buzz Windrip, who promises poor, angry voters that he will make America proud and prosperous once more, but takes the country down a far darker path. As the new regime slides into authoritarianism, newspaper editor Doremus Jessop can't believe it will last – but is he right? This cautionary tale of liberal complacency in the face of populist tyranny shows it really can happen here."

Ossoff: "I think Pete Hegseth is frankly a deeply unwell person who seems to relish this kind of brutality all the while he's running a department that is falling into chaos. The guy cannot run the military competently and is spending his time with this kind of obscene medieval spectacle."

I don't know how you say it in your state, but here in Michigan, it's "Labatts." Maybe "Labatt's." Rodgers, in his ad, said "Labatt." That's probably how they say it in Florida, if they even have Labatts there.

I love the "the hat is fine" comments. Our city got rid of old candy cane decorations in the park for the holidays, and got new canes. Slightly different canes. People had meltdowns. I trolled so much, saying "the new canes are FINE." For your own mental health, don't be like Nancy.

I watched it a couple years ago. As an adult I can say there were a few episodes that would’ve traumatized me if I’d watched it as a child. As an adult, seeing Barnabas manipulate women into being his Josette was more creepy.

They quoted me in this New Yorker piece about AI today. www.newyorker.com/culture/the-...
“Let’s say there’s a world or time line I exist in where A.I. has been subject to regulation. It is ethical. It has no footprint environmentally,” the novelist Jeff VanderMeer, a prominent critic of A.I., told me over the phone. “With those guardrails in place, would I read an A.I. book? All I can say is no. And the reason is, in part, because I want to read something coming from a particular mind.” Using A.I., he said, “feels like a betrayal of the whole point of why you’re a writer.”

I believe fraternity hazing and military hazing and sports team hazing where men abuse each other is acclimating them into a broader culture of abuse where they will then believe it is their right to abuse other more vulnerable people. It’s so insidious. And that’s also why I think men defend it

Symbols matter. White House isn't a palace. Kennedy Center is for the general public to enjoy. We don't have a triumphal arch in DC because that's imperial. We don't put the president's face on money because it's monarchical. It's about tearing down everything that says we're a democratic republic.
