“Originalism is an incoherent doctrine. It allows you to prove anything. Thus what it amounts to is a ritual invocation of the Founders, gesturing at this or that piece of text, before delivering whatever conclusion was approved on Fox News the night before.” www.liberalcurrents.com/we-have-no-s...

We Have No Supreme Court
The philosophical incoherence of originalism prevents the Court from performing its core functions as a supreme court.

Doing a community ed event today, & upon checking in, the woman was like (referring to my first + last name) she could not tell which name was the “front end or the back end” or if I was a boy or a girl. No self-awareness! Maybe I will think of how best to handle in the future, I just let it slide.

CW /// I am Jane Doe. When I was 19, I was sexually assaulted by a 36 year old man that I met online. Afterwards, he wrote a short story about what he did to me and how he'd do it again and kill me if I ever told anyone. Over 30,000 people read it, and 17,000 shared it within 24 hours of posting.

I was not prepared for it to be so hilarious. There were so many parts I felt so deeply, even if I could not wholly relate. It was close enough. And it was indeed perfect.

Palantir shifting from hiring only "Ivy or Ivy-equivalent" degrees to hiring only out of high school is an admission that "training" and "talent" were never factors at all. They were looking for packaging & prestige, and now they're looking for ignorance & impressionability.
Tech companies launching their own programs to train grads because they ‘can’t rely’ on Ivy Leagues
By Lydia Moynihan
Published Oct. 1, 2026, 6:00 a.m. ETAs the university system increasingly becomes a wildly expensive bastion of anti-Western sentiment, key figures in Silicon Valley are betting on alternatives to higher education. They argue that even the Ivy League is no longer producing the best candidates — nor are they even accepting some of the most qualified students.

“It used to be the case that you could rely on somebody who went to an Ivy or Ivy-equivalent to be top notch,” said Jordan Hirsch, who runs Palantir’s semester-long intensive Meritocracy Fellowship, which accepts high school graduates.“But that’s not the case anymore… we suspected that there was a lot of talent being missed.”

This is like I was saying the other day how it is a norm in the VC world to hire college dropouts (and encourage people to dropout) so that tech workers are easily malleable and not curious or knowledgable of the harms they are participating in.

They have erased the history of the tech industry and tech innovation so that their workers don’t ask what happened to prior generations of innovators and innovations. It’s a very intentional strategy.

One of the best questions we can all ask these days is, “How?” It’s simple and smart and a non-answer tells you as much as an answer. Skynet is going to kill is? How? We are moving to the moon? How? Build a big net around earth? How??

There were more men in a single documented gang rape at one school than the number of competitive trans athletes nationally. But I’ve heard a lot more politicians being asked about protecting girls from one of these scenarios and not another… I’ll let you guess which is which.
