I don't care if "most people want it". A "democratically elected" government which immediately sets about purging opposing demographics from its voter pool thus loses its claim to being democratic, and this is a criterion that every right-wing government meets.

I'm going to call it: 1) the Brazilian election was rigged by the US. 2) frankly, even if it hadn't been, I think it's time to acknowledge reality — right-wing governments are illegitimate by definition, regardless of how many people vote for them.
