My first recommended streamer is a variety of streamer I do not watch. Nothing against their content, but my watch time for IRL streams has to be like 1%. So they seem to not be matching up your taste in categories all too well lmao

For the last 2 years I've been building leaderboards on therun. Today, they go in beta. I'm looking for communities to test them out. Not to switch over, purely for testing. Import your board from SRC easily, poke around, give me thoughts. Contact me here or through discord to test stuff!

I'm sure it's happened a lot even before the Switch 1/2

Truly just an unfortunate string of events for it to end up where it did. But at least the speedrun is cool lol

It's unfortunately one of those games that failed to live up to the potential it had, which unfortunately boiled down to its dev time getting slashed by a year. If that didn't happen it'd probably be one of the all time greats. But as it is it's just pretty okay to most people, and that's okay.

We need to stop saying "this is just like 1984" when the government does something bad and start saying "this is like in the spongebob movie when Plankton activated those Chum Bucket helmets to have full control over all the citizens of bikini bottom"

No longer content with pillaging intellectual work and dismembering our environment (already critically weakened), AI companies are now hellbent on destroying books galore including rare editions. Shut down these nefarious enterprises already.

AI labs buy, scan, shred millions of rare books

If you have retreated to physical books because the internet is too full of AI slop, bad news — now they’re shredding the books to feed their AI slop machines.

This is just more proof of how user scores just are not very useful to use. If you play Splatoon Raiders, yeah it's an amazing game. But the 7th best game of all time? Come on. It's at least top 5.

At our municipal grocery stores, New Yorkers will get a 30% discount on eggs, milk, chicken, produce and other everyday essentials. In the wealthiest city in the richest country in the world, no one should have to wonder how they’ll afford the food they need to feed themselves or their families.

Mayor Mamdani holds up bananas with a 30% off sticker on them.

Shelves of produce and canned goods, all with 30% off stickers on them.

New Yorkers clap at the press conference announcing the 30% discount for municipal grocery stores.

Sunday Taquitos #30: Flock This! Art by @ivan-ehlers.bsky.social

A cartoon of two people standing under a flock camera speaking to each other. The man says “I’m fine with mass surveillance ‘cause I’m not doing anything wrong.” The woman responds “… Until someone changes the definition of what’s ‘wrong.’”

You’re absolutely right. We should not have so many people on SNAP. Because jobs should pay enough FOR PEOPLE TO EAT.

If you're a Switch user who uses RetroSpy to have an input display, I have just created a skin! I found there was a lack of skins for Switch controllers, so I figured this would be a fun little project. You can grab it for free on my Ko-fi: ko-fi.com/s/bd6ba5c664
