iiinova — where your digital self keeps evolving

Throughout this past week I played Melee, Brawl, P+, Rivals 1 and 2. What a spread.

I'm almost disappointed I first tried Elder Princess Shroob. That fight was impossible as a kid. But I lowkey did spam copy flowers this time around. That item is so broken, maybe I should have intentionally not used it to make it more challenging. But still a hype game B)

I'm glad Partners in Time still hits hard. I also back-to-back on both Mario and Luigi got a +3 to power on the bonus stat up from a level up. The amount of dopamine received from that could not be measured.

Howdy! There's somebody reposting my cartoons on Tiktok. Seems they've stolen from other artists too. If you've got a minute, I'd love some help reporting this frick!

I never would have guessed that F-Zero GX of all things has a built in tool that shows the range/mapping of your GameCube analog stick. This is how I found out that my platinum controller with fucked up stick caps actually has good mapping

I can now post this art I made of The Knight from Hollow Knight. An attempt at getting a similar vibe to how Tetsuya Nomura drew Sora for the KH title screens I made this for @armaggedun.bsky.social's Dearly Beloved HK cover www.youtube.com/watch?v=SczD... #Art #FanArt #HollowKnight

The Knight from Hollow Knight, drawn in a digital watercolor style. Attempting to recreate Tetsuya Nomura's watercolor style for how he drew Sora for the Kingdom Hearts title screen art.

The Knight is standing on the edge of a cliffside with a lamppost in the background. It's shadow forms into "The Shade" and curves along the cliff-side.

Thumbnail Illustration I did for my Peak Ascent 8 solo clear. This was a fun concept and the amulet gems were cool to paint, tragically the glow effect washes out most of the detail within them but oh well. #OC #Art #Furryart

Illustration of my character Paiku wearing what my Scout wears in PEAK. A long galaxy themed jacket(?) with gold cuffs and chainmail leggings. A red hat with a piercing and 2 feathers.

He looks all godly using the 4 amulets powers which are radiating their respect colors.

Behind is text that reads ASCENT 8. This being used for a YouTube thumbnail which is why that text is present.

Behind all of that is the top of the Peak within PEAK at nighttime.

Strelly and I made a tiny lil RPG maker game for a game jam!! we definitely didn't forget that it was happening this week!!! I made 5 tracks for the game in ~6 hours somehow. I think they turned out okay given our (definitely not self-inflicted) time restriction

We went for a walk through a little trail which leads into the park downtown and proceeded to get Chinese food. A nice lil outing

Good Chinese food consisting of: an egg roll, chicken fried rice, chicken vegetable & almond and lemon chicken

I'm making Mapo Tofu tonight for dinner, so I did a bunch of prep to make it easier later. I have no other way to make this part more convenient tragically. I spent 1hr chopping these peppercorns by hand with a knife to make it into a powder. Spice grinder one day.

Pantheon 5 done B). I think I did it in like 3 attempts? Honestly I'm still surprised I did it so quick. I did grind the final fight for a while so that definitely helped.

I've been working on this for over a year: I'm remaking all of Ocarina of Time's prerenders in 3D, trying to match the N64 style rather than the 3DS one. The provisional name is OoT unJPEG. It will be distributed as both a romhack that runs on real N64 hardware and a mod for Zelda 64 Recompiled.

A rare left handed buff I've appreciated in recent times is using my drawing tablet, I'm able to very easily access my mouse without having to drop the stylus. For a right handed person I'd imagine this is slightly more inconvenient

Absolutely insane hearing him say "if it was opt-in then nobody would opt-in." So ya'll are aware nobody wants this and somehow this feature makes it in still. Shit like this is what makes me despise aspects about modern day internet, predatory bullshit like this.

141

Butter @butterlord.bsky.social · 13/08/2026

Scroll all the way to the bottom and uncheck that shit immediately. It's so obnoxious when features like this are enabled by default. Surely one day all these companies will get the point that the general public hates all this and doesn't want it.

Unironically saying marathon run submissions should only be for the top couple of runners is such a sad take. Good on the Mario 3D World community for rejecting that.
