States with observed outbreaks include Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Guam, Hawai’i, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Puerto Rico, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, U.S. Virgin Islands, Utah, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, West Virginia, and Wyoming. Additional states with poor monitoring likely have outbreaks based on high levels in bordering counties in adjacent states.

Add another Democratic candidate who has taken an anti-trans stance this campaign. Virtually everyone missed this one. Adam Hamilton's US senate campaign in Kansas called transgender girls "boys," opposed athletics, and was in favor of a surgery ban. Haven't seen this one reported anywhere yet.
